حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ، بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا مَرِضَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ نَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ فَلَمَّا مَرِضَ مَرَضَهُ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ جَعَلْتُ أَنْفُثُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَمْسَحُهُ بِيَدِ نَفْسِهِ لأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ أَعْظَمَ بَرَكَةً مِنْ يَدِي . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بِمُعَوِّذَاتٍ .
Chapter: Reciting Al-Mu'awwidhat As Ruqyah For The Sick, And Blowing Over Them'A'isha reported that when any of the members of the household fell ill Allah's Messenger (PBUH) used to blow over him by reciting Mu'awwidhatan, and when he suffered from illness of which he died I used to blow over him and rubbed his body with his hand for his hand had greater healing power than my hand. حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى يَقْرَأُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَيَنْفُثُ فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ وَجَعُهُ كُنْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَمْسَحُ عَنْهُ بِيَدِهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَتِهَا .
'A'isha reported that when Allah's Messenger (PBUH) fell ill, he recited over his body Mu'awwidhatan and blew over him and when his sickness was aggravated I used to recite over him and rub him with his band with the hope that it was more blessed. Translation Not Available
