وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَلَّمَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَالْغَادِيَاتُ وَالرَّائِحَاتُ . فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَعَلَيْكَ أَلْفًا . ثُمَّ كَأَنَّهُ كَرِهَ ذَلِكَ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that a mangreeted Abdullah ibn Umar. He said, "Peace be upon you and the mercyof Allah and his barakat, on and on." Abdullah ibn Umar said to him,"And on you, a thousand times," as if he disliked that. Translation Not Available

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ إِذَا دُخِلَ الْبَيْتُ غَيْرُ الْمَسْكُونِ يُقَالُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ .
