حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَكَّةَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَاسْتَلَمَ الْحَجَرَ ثُمَّ مَضَى عَلَى يَمِينِهِ فَرَمَلَ ثَلاَثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَقَامَ فَقَالَ : (وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى ) فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْمَقَامُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْحَجَرَ بَعْدَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّفَا أَظُنُّهُ قَالََّ :( إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ) . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ .
Chapter: What Has Been Related About How To Perform TawafJabir narrated: "When the Prophet arrived in Makkah, he entered the Masjid and touched the (Black) Stone, then went to his right and performed Raml (walking quickly) for three (circuits) and walking for four. Then he came to the Maqam and said: 'And take you (people) the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.' Then he performed two Rak'ah while the Maqam was between him and the House. Then he came to the (Black) Stone after the two Rak'ah to touch it, then he left to As-Safa - I think - he said: Indeed As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah." حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ اسْتِلاَمِ الْحَجَرِ، فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غُلِبْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُوحِمْتُ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ بِالْيَمَنِ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ . قَالَ وَهَذَا هُوَ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ رَوَى عَنْهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ كُوفِيٌّ يُكْنَى أَبَا سَلَمَةَ سَمِعَ مِنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَوَى عَنْهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الأَئِمَّةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ تَقْبِيلَ الْحَجَرِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُمْكِنْهُ وَلَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْهِ اسْتَلَمَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَقَبَّلَ يَدَهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْهِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ إِذَا حَاذَى بِهِ وَكَبَّرَ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ .
Az-Zubair bin Arabi narrated: That a man asked Ibn Umar about touching the (Black) Stone, so he said: "I saw the Prophet touching it and kissing it." So the man said: "What is your view if there is a throng (around the Ka'bah) and what is your view if the people overpowered me?" Ibn Umar said: "Leave 'What is your view' in Yemen.
