وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ إِذَا اتَّقَى " . وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبُعَيْهِ الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ .
Yahya related to me from Malik that Safwan ibn Sulaym heard thatthe Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I and theone who guards the orphan, whether for himself or for someone else,will be like these two in the Garden, when he has taqwa," indicatinghis middle and index fingers.
