وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ كَيْفَ هُوَ فَأَدْخَلَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ تَحْتَ الْخُفِّ وَالأُخْرَى فَوْقَهُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَّهُمَا ‏.‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَقَوْلُ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَحَبُّ مَا سَمِعْتُ إِلَىَّ فِي ذَلِكَ ‏.‏

Yahya related to me that Malik had asked Ibn Shihab how to wipeover leather socks. Ibn Shihab had put one hand under the sock and hisother hand above the sock and then passed them over it. Yahyasaid that Malik said, "Out of all that I have heard about the matter Ilike what Ibn Shihab said the most." Translation Not Available
